Refund policy
At Lawhat, we are committed to delivering high-quality products. To ensure transparency and fairness, please review the following Returns & Refunds Policy carefully before placing your order.
Return Eligibility
If you are not satisfied with your goods, Lawhat offers a 7 day return period. Returned items will only be accepted if they are unused, unassembled, in their original condition, and returned in the same original packaging in which they were delivered, including all accessories and materials. Products that have been installed, assembled, modified, or show signs of use will not be eligible for return. A valid proof of purchase is required for all return or refund requests.
Orders that have been placed and held with Lawhat to store until delivery or collection is required are not eligible for a refund of any kind once the 7 days have passed from order placement.
Inspection Upon Delivery
All customers are required to inspect their items immediately upon delivery. Any products that are damaged or faulty must be reported at the time of delivery or within 24 hours of receipt via email to Lawhat. Claims submitted after this period will not be eligible for a return, refund, or replacement. Acceptance of the delivery without reporting any issues will be considered confirmation that the items were received in satisfactory condition.
Damaged or Faulty Items
In the unlikely event that a product is damaged or faulty, Lawhat may request clear photographic or video evidence before approving any return, refund, or replacement. All such items are subject to inspection upon return, and Lawhat reserves the right to determine whether a refund or replacement is applicable.
Even in cases of damaged or faulty products, items must be returned in their original packaging. Failure to return the product with its original packaging will result in a deduction of 25% of the total product value from any approved refund.
Collection from Warehouse
If orders are collected directly from Lawhat warehouse, customers are required to inspect the products in full at the time of collection. Once the goods have been collected and left the warehouse premises, Lawhat will not be held responsible for and damage, defects or discrepancies reported thereafter. By collecting the goods, the customer confirms that the items have been examined and accepted in their current condition.
Cancellations
If you wish to cancel, you must notify Lawhat as soon as possible. If the order has not yet been dispatched, the cancellation may be approved, and a refund will be issued to the original method of payment.
If the order has already been dispatched, or if the return is due to a change of mind, the customer will be liable for all transportation costs (outgoing and return). These costs will be deducted accordingly, and the customer will receive a credit note for the remaining value. Credit notes are non-transferrable and must be used within 90 days from the time of issue.
For orders that have been placed and held with Lawhat to store until delivery or collection is required, cancellations cannot be made after 5 days of the order being placed. Orders placed for future delivery or collection will be allocated and secured against the customers name until the delivery or collection is required. Delivery or collection must be carried out within 90 days of the order being placed.
Special and Pre Orders
Special order and pre-order items are products reserved or secured specifically upon customer request. Once a special order or pre-order has been confirmed, it cannot be cancelled, returned, or refunded under any circumstances, regardless of whether the item has been dispatched or delivered. By placing a special or pre-order, the customer acknowledges and accepts these terms.
Pre-orders are usually delivered in the timeframe stated. In the event of delays caused by factors beyond Lawhats control, delivery times may be extended. If the delivery is delayed by more than fourteen working days beyond the originally stated timeline, the customer may request cancellation of the pre-order. Any such cancellation will result in the issuance of a store credit, subject to Lawhat’s discretion. No additional compensation, damages or claims shall be applicable in relation to such delays.
How to Initiate a Return or Refund
To initiate a return or refund request, customers must contact Lawhat via email (info@lawhat.ae) and provide their order number, proof of purchase, and a clear description of the issue, along with supporting images or videos where applicable. Requests submitted without the required information may be delayed or declined. Approved refunds, where applicable, will be processed using the original method of payment. Refund processing times may vary depending on the payment provider and financial institution.
Lawhat reserves the right to amend or update this policy at any time without prior notice.
